Support our work
The New Mexico Impact Lab is an independent newsroom. We turn public records into searchable databases and investigations, and we keep them free for anyone to use. That work — filing requests, cleaning data, building tools, and publishing — takes time and money. We rely on readers and mission-aligned funders to make it possible.
Ways to support
- Donate. Individual contributions keep public records public and free to search.
Donation options are being set up. To contribute now, email research@nmimpactlab.org. - Grants & foundations. We welcome grant and foundation support for public-interest reporting and data projects. Get in touch: research@nmimpactlab.org.
- Share records & tips. Documents and leads are their own kind of support — see Contact.
- Spread the word. Point reporters, researchers, and neighbors to the data. Reuse is welcome, with attribution.
Our independence pledge
Support helps us do the work; it does not buy influence over it. Contributions and grants never dictate what we cover or what we conclude — we report what the public records show. We are not affiliated with any party, campaign, agency, or single institution, and we do not take paid commissions to investigate targets on anyone's behalf. Where relevant, we disclose our funders.
