How matches are made, and what we do not publish. Confirming that two records describe the same organization requires identifying details in the underlying filings — registered addresses, contact points, and the names of officers. Those details are used only to check the match and are never published here. What you see is the conclusion and the reason for it. Only organizations appear in this tool; individuals do not.

Sources: the IRS Exempt Organizations Business Master File (New Mexico extract), New Mexico lobbyist registration disclosures, and New Mexico campaign finance reports — all public records, compiled with the Lab's custom-built data tools and provided as a research aid. Reported revenue is the figure in the organization's most recent IRS record; most small nonprofits file a form that carries no financial figures at all, so a blank or zero does not mean an organization is inactive. Linked organizations share a registered contact point, which frequently means nothing more than a shared accountant, attorney or registered agent — it is not evidence of common control.
